Birthday Photoshoots

What birthday photoshoots are and why I’m making them a thing

You’ll know you should do a birthday photoshoot if one of these three things apply:

1. You want to celebrate your birthday
2. You like having fun photos of yourself
3. You want to commemorate starting a new chapter of your life. Another year older and wiser, right?

Props needed: balloons, cake, disco balls and anything else your heart desires

All jokes aside, my brand is all about celebrating people’s big life moments and not many things are bigger than a birthday! Having a birthday photoshoot is such a fun, creative way of expressing yourself and honoring the you that you got to be for the past year and who you will evolve into throughout the next year. Also, it’s pretty fun to have a cooler-than-everyone-else birthday post for the year. Why let only the influencers have the cool birthday posts? They are for everyone who lives within driving range of me, my camera, my head full of birthday ideas and my car full of disco balls.

Birthday photoshoots are great for milestone birthdays like turning 18 or 21 and you will always have those images to commemorate that time in your life! I would love to do a 30, flirty and thriving photoshoot possibly styled in a 13 going on 30 way? To go in the other age direction, I have also shot some incredibly cute 1 year old birthdays which include a lot of cake smashing and confusion.

And finally, I just think birthday photoshoots are so fun and unique! I’m open to any ideas you have whether it is inside the studio or outside at a cool location, let’s create some fun birthday moments for you!
